Intertidal is a medium-length graphic novel which portrays the yearning for belongingness, and the unabated pursuit in response to the calling of “hiraeth” in a world where the protagonist has no actual hometown or ethnic identity to hold onto. He thus strives to follow his instinct, tracking the scent of every possible clue left behind by the ones to whom he best relates.
