“Once Twice Deities” is a two-part series of 52-page full-color zines, indie-published in 2022 and 2023.

This graphic novel series is a pictorial representation of my innermost words - something I call "the vortex." In a rather poetic language, I separate words from images, while using narrative techniques such as leaping, allusions, and intertextuality to respond to the theme of the book: how the miraculous manifests itself to me in a single flash of light—and how meaning emerges from their recurrence each time.
